With the GF kicking off this weekend, why not rekindle the BBQ memories of childhood with a Plant-based twist and try the BBQ Portello Mushroom Sliders combined with BBQ onions in all its caramelised deliciousness. INGREDIENTS

200g Portello Mushrooms

2 large brown onions

200g Plant-based Mince (optional)

Oil of your choice

Black pepper to taste

Salt to taste

METHOD

1 – Fire up BBQ

2 – Gently remove the mushroom stem

3 – Peel & thinly slice onions

4 – Cut slider buns in half

5 – Oil preheated BBQ and grill mushrooms till cooked through and fry onion on flat plate till caramelised

6 – Simply arrange Portello mushrooms with caramelised onions into sliders and serve
